Pictures show the penalty decision, Nat hammering it home and Meganne breaking away to score the second goal. The Vixens quickly got into their stride at the start of the second half when Meganne slotted in a scuffed cross for her second goal to make it 3 - 0. Leeds Carnegie briefly threatened to get back into the game after scoring in the 72nd minute and forcing a brilliant save by Carrie in the next from a free kick. But the Vixens came straight back and Stacey produced a fantastic volleyed goal to put the match beyond doubt with over a quarter of an hour still remaining. Final score 4 - 1 to the Vixens. |
