Increasingly local businesses are recognising the contribution Leeds City Vixens plays in the community. This provides an opportunity, at High School Level, for these businesses to form closer links with the High Schools in Leeds.
So what form do these links take?

Extra curriculum activities
Business may provide careers advice to inform potential school leavers with the opportunities that their industries offer.

Presentation evenings
As potential school leavers are facing the outside world these business may introduce them to topics not ordinarily covered by the school curriculum. Therefore business will provide presentations on subjects like "Women in Industry" and "Health & Safety"

Leeds City Vixens provide extra interest to these links, as students may enjoy presentations on the opportunities for young ladies to pursue their football careers beyond the schools environment and establish contacts within the ladies game, be these at their chosen places of higher education or the appropriate ladies teams in the areas that they will be moving to.
